4 Movie Adapations to Watch Oct-Dec 2016

If you love both reading and watching movie adaptations, here are four adaptations to look out for that have expected release dates between October and December 2016

The Girl on the Train
Based on the popular book of the same name it follows a woman who becomes entangled with a case of a missing person, someone she frequently sees from afar as she takes her daily train ride to work. The book has often been compared to Gone Girl so it would be interesting if the movie would be as successful as well. The Girl on the Train stars Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux and Rebecca Ferguson.

Doctor Strange
Another Marvel Comics character gets a solo movie; Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Doctor Strange, a neurosurgeon who learns about mysticism and alternate dimensions after an accident. If you've been following the MCU titles the last few years, you probably wouldn't want to miss this one as well.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
The movie takes place 70 years before Harry Porter and follows the adventures of a writer in New York which has it's own community of witches and wizards. It's not exactly Hogwarts but who wouldn't want to be transported into another of J.K. Rowling's wizarding world?

A Monster Calls
Based on the award winning children's novel by Patrick Ness, a young boy is visited by a tree monster as he struggles with bullies and his mother's illness. If the movie is like the book, it will be great. The movie stars Felicity Jones, Sigourney Weaver and Liam Neeson as the monster.
